Tips for Staying Hydrated in Hot Weather

  1. Start Your Day with Water
Drink a large glass of water first thing in the morning to kick-start hydration.
  2. Sip Consistently Throughout the Day
Don’t wait until you’re thirsty — keep a bottle with you and sip regularly.
  3. Infuse Your Water
Add slices of lemon, cucumber, mint, or berries to make it more refreshing and enjoyable.
  4. Eat Hydrating Foods
Water-rich foods like cucumber, watermelon, celery, and strawberries can help top up hydration.
  5. Use Electrolytes if Needed
If you’re sweating a lot (during workouts or hot days), add an electrolyte tab or powder to one bottle of water to replenish minerals.
  6. Watch for Dehydration Signs
Dry mouth, dark urine, headache, fatigue, or dizziness? Time to drink up!
  7. Cool it Down
Drink cool water or use ice cubes to stay refreshed and bring body temperature down.
  8. Limit Caffeine and Alcohol
These can dehydrate you, so balance them out with extra water.
